There are nine main academic departments found at Cal Poly Pomona; College of Agriculture, College of Business Administration, College of Education and Integrative studies, College of Engineering, College of Environmental Design, College of the Extended University, The Collins College of Hospitality Management, College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences and the College of Science.

Financial Information
In comparison with the University of California and Private Universities, the cost of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona is half of the cost per semester for the University of California and a seventh of the projected cost of Private University.
Funding for the education can be expensive. Administration staffs at Cal Poly Pomona are aware of this fact and have a variety of options available for students to fund their education including grants and loans, but also scholarships, merit awards and on-campus employment for students.
State and Federal funding through need based student loans are available for students – in addition to funding that can be spread out over installment plans that are paid to the University.
