Firefighters are battling a 15-20 acre brush fire that broke out in San Dimas early Friday morning.

The blaze was reported just before 4 a.m. in the area of San Dimas Canyon Road and E. Golden Hills Road.

No structures are threatened at this time, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Three water-dropping helicopters are helping battle the fire, according to the La Verne Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
