SUNNYVALE — The site of a planned office project in downtown Sunnyvale has been bought by a group that intends to develop the property.
The Minkoff Group, acting through an affiliate, has bought a site at 100 Altair Way in downtown Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County documents filed on Dec. 31 show.
The proposed office project would sprout on a site that fronts on Altair Way between Aries Way and Tafee Street, according to county and city records.
100 Altair, the Minkoff affiliate, paid $32.7 million for the site, county documents show.
Minkoff Group has proposed a seven-story office building that would total 141,300 square feet, according to Sunnyvale planning files.
“The project is providing a high-quality office building capable of supporting single or multiple tenants,” the Sunnyvale Planning Commission said in a report released this year.
