Here is a geographical breakdown of how Californians voted on the 12 propositions.

Figures are from the California Secretary of State as of 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, with 99% (20,290 of 20,497) precincts reporting. Election results are updated at the statewide level as often as new data is received from county elections officials. Many ballots are not counted on Election Day; county elections officials must report final official results for presidential electors to the Secretary of State by Dec. 1, and all other state contests by Dec.  4. Results will be certified by Dec. 11.
