Orange County Soccer Club continued its focus on youth and development, with the signing of teenagers Alexis Cerritos and Raymond Drai.

“We are excited to add Alexis and Raymond, two very talented teenagers, to our first-team roster,” OCSC President of Soccer Operations Oliver Wyss said. “Alexis and Raymond are gifted attacking players who have already shown great promise and will continue to develop daily in our professional environment!”

Cerritos, 19, is the son of former El Salvador international and MLS veteran Ronald Cerritos. He joins OCSC from AD Oliveirense in Portugal. He made his El Salvador national team debut in 2017.

Drai, 16, most recently competed with Real SoCal in the Development Academy. He’s had trials at Tottenham and Fulham of the English Premier League.

“I’m feeling blessed that I’ve signed my first professional contract with an amazing club, that develops young players like myself,” Drai said in a statement. “I’ll take this opportunity to prove myself, that I can play at the top level.”

Both players will be eligible for their OCSC debuts Sunday against San Diego Loyal SC.

OCSC is currently in third place in Group B of the Western Conference.
