Poke House has brought its menu of sustainable and fair-trade seafood to Rivermark Village, the large retail and housing complex along Montague Expressway in Santa Clara.

The new location gives the San Jose-based chain eight restaurants — three in San Jose, along with Fremont, Palo Alto, Santa Cruz and Monterey.

And there are more to come. According to the website, Poke House will expand soon to San Mateo and San Francisco.

Besides build-your-own poke bowls, the menu features an array of signature bowls, including the Tuna Lover (with ahi tuna, spicy tuna and garlic tuna), House Salmon, Miso Salmon and two chicken-crab combos, Crispy Shoyu Chicken and Miso Chicken. Other proteins available are octopus, shrimp and organic tofu.

Produce is sourced locally, the restaurant says, and sauces are made in-house.

Poke House took over the Rivermark Village spot that had been home to the Jamba Juice owned by former San Francisco 49ers player Vernon Davis.
