A police pursuit of a man suspected of assault with a deadly weapon ended in the East Los Angeles area Wednesday night, after the driver pulled over.

Newschopper4 Bravo was over the chase around 9:50 p.m.

The driver was suspected of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the East LA Sheriff’s Station.

The driver had a large following of LA County Sheriff’s vehicles as he took them through a shopping center at one point.

Eventually, the driver decided to pull over and surrender in the city of Commerce, as he emerged from the car shirtless. No one else was found inside the vehicle.

As the driver was being led into the back of a patrol car, his pants fell down, signaling the end of the pursuit.
