The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles announced this week that it has officially been forced by the uncertainty caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic to cancel the remainder of its 2020 concert season.
“Although we had hoped to celebrate our 90th anniversary season of providing live entertainment for the citizens of Los Angeles we feel it is the right, responsible and safe thing for fans, artists, staff and our Griffith Park community to put a pause on live, large crowd events until 2021,” AP Diaz, City of Los Angeles, Recreation and Parks Executive Officer, said via a statement posted to the venue website late Tuesday evening.
Some of the season’s shows has been postponed or rescheduled, and there are several dates that have been canceled as well. Tickets for postponed or rescheduled dates will be valid for the new date. For inquiries about tickets or refunds, contact the point of purchase or go to lagreektheatre.com for more information.
